He was loved and cherished by many people including: his husband Helen Ann; his children, Judy Flanagan, Tim Flanagan of Chatham, Bob Van De Hogen of Ridgetown, Nancy Havens, Richard Havens of McKays Corners, Wayne Hogen and Kathi Van De Hogen of Ridgetown; his grandchildren, Shawn, Ryan, Sarah Flanagan, Joel, Greg, Megan Van De Hogen, Jocelyn, Brett, Jenna Havens and Brittany Van De Hogen; his siblings, Martin Van De (late Liz), John Van De (Mary), Adrian Van De (late Anne), Pete Van De (Annette), Nellie Venclik (late Joe), Annie Beuglet and Frank Van De (Carol); and his siblings-in-law, Toni Semkowich (late Fred), Mary Capek (late Frank) and Rose Walker. He was also cherished by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
