She was predeceased by: her parents, Theo Ermers and Mary Ermers (Morlog); her father-in-law Ivan Galbraith; and her brothers-in-law, Paul Johnson and Eric Pinsonneault.
She is survived by: her mother-in-law Catherine Galbraith (Reeves); her children, Steve Tunks (Helen) of Simcoe, Darrell Galbraith, Jr. (Diane) of London, Crystal Stienburg (Ryan) of Sault Ste and Marie; her sisters, Anne Johnson (Gary Chinnick) and Kathy Owen (Jim); and her siblings-in-law, Dan Galbraith (Nancy), Darlene Trudgen (Jim), Dale Galbraith (Colleen), Dennis Galbraith (Linda) and Dean Galbraith (Patti). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, extended family.
Donations made in memory of Joan to the Canadian Diabetes Association and Trillium Gift of Life Network would be appreciated.
