She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Gownlock and Evelyn Gownlock; and her siblings, Wendy, Robin and Chuck.
She is survived by: her husband George Evans; her children, Robin Lansue, Brenda Lariviere, Annette Bellaire and Chris Evans (Heather); her grandchildren, Shannon Regier (Brad), Jaelyn Seabrook (Cole), Gillian Watts (Alex), Ally Gifford (Donovan), Jessica Bellehumeur (Sylvain), Sydney Olesko (Max), Kylie Evans, Riley Evans, Ayla, Emmett, Grayson, Harper, Elias, Winifred, Anne, George, Xavier and Olivia; and her siblings, Vicky (Joe), Joanne (Rob), Penny (Rick), Richard (Joanne), Tony (Sherry), Robert and Doug (Lisa). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Emmanuel Congregational Church (92 Erie St N, Ridgetown, ON N0P2C0). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
Donations made in memory of Ethel to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or the Gathering Place Community Church would be appreciated by the family.
