He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Woods and Jessie; his wife Joyce Marie Garrod; his children, Gordon, Linda McLaren (Don) and Barb De Cook (Albert); his grandchildren, Tim Woods (Liza), Jennifer Woods (Greg Spence), Jim McLaren (Morgan), Sheila McLaren, Michelle McLaren (Martin Helmer), Corrie De Cook, David De Cook (Joanne) and Brenda De Cook (Dave Adams); his great grandchildren, Austin, Cohen Woods, Myah, Chloe Spence, Sofia De Cook, Nevaeh De Cook and Hensley Adams; his siblings, Wanda Gould, Norman Woods (Joan) and Wayne Woods; and his siblings-in-law, Eugene "Sonny", George "Peter" Garrod (Barb) and Gayle Clarridge (Bill). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
