She was predeceased by: her husband Garnet Brown; her son Garnet Jr. Dear; and her brothers, Blyth and Eldon Massey. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Smith (Doug) and Joan Brown (late Trevor Bennett); her grandchildren, Johnathon, Sarah, Cliff (Tonja) and Tawnia (Dale); her great grandchildren, Tyler and Blake; her sisters, Fern Carpenter (late Don), Helen Sadler (late Earl), Cora Nolan (Claude) and Jane Massey; and her sisters-in-law, Penny and Aggie.
Up until the pandemic Heather loved playing euchre wherever there was a deck of cards.
