She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Douglas Claude Sleno (Bob); and her parents, Edna Mackay and Mickey Mackay. She is survived by: her children, Jim Sleno (Anita) of Burlington and Cathy Buchanan (Darryl) of London; her grandchildren, Laura, Jamie and Sarah; her sister-in-law Pamela Gowers (Dan); her nephew Andrew; and her niece Samantha.
