She was predeceased by: her husband Yoon-Bae Kim; and her son Andrew Kim. She is survived by: her daughter Connie Kim; and her siblings, Koo-Ja Paik, Young-Ja Cho, Young-Hee Yoo, Young-Mee Huh and Joong-Hyung Cho. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and an abundance of extended family and friends.

Even while in the nursing home with Alzheimer's she used to try to help the other residents with their meals or help tidy up.
