He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Iain (Justine), Elizabeth (Joe) and Emily; his nieces and nephews, Chris (Mel), Sarah (Jay), Sean (Catherine), Darcy and Lauren; and his sister Lenore (Peter).

Though it has been many years now since I was last in touch with Rob, I will always treasure times that we shared from our days at Lake Wilcox Public School, Dr. G.W. Williams High School in Aurora, playing hockey on Lake Wilcox, and working together at Cashway Lumber in Oak Ridges. Rob was always a stand-up guy, and a good person to be around. He will be missed by all of those fortunate enough to have known him. Doug Mount”
