He was predeceased by: his spouse Margaret A. Mincy; his parents, Daniel L. Mincey and Ruby Gibson Mincey; his son-in-law Patrick Stringfellow; and his brothers, Henry Mincey and Mark Skipper Mincey.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret M. Gebbia (Keith), Vicky M. Gaskins (Nelson), Teresa M. Stringfellow and Cassandra M. Lowery (Jimmy); his siblings, Daniel L. Mincy, Margaret V. Patterson and Betty J. McGasky; and his grandsons, Keith M. Gebbia, Jr., Shaun D. Gebbia, David R. Gaskins, James L. Lowery, Jr., Michael P. Lowery, Christopher J. Stringfellow and Jason Benenhaley. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
