He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Florence (Wood) and Norman William Roome; and his brother John (Patricia). He is survived by: his children, Tom (Eve Edward), Doug (Cathy Pryce), Susan (Andrew Willnecker) and Andrea (Alan Cameron); his grandchildren, Mike, Alyssa (Jon Bowden), Paul Roome, Matthew Moote (Randi Cameron), Emily Roome, Jamie (Erin Côté), Ryan Willnecker (Natalie Major), Bryan, Catie Danks (Rui Costa), Nicole (Paul Amos) and Robert Otley (Melanie Hutton); his niece Cathryn Gramolini; his former wife Ruth; his wife Patricia Otley; and also, Bill Otley (Carol Bell), Christine Danks and Willie.
