It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Hatzimalis (Richmond Hill, Ontario), who passed away on August 2, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Matthew Hatzimalis to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his parents, Nick and Sheri; and his brothers, Justin, Daniel and Thomas. He is also survived by his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate a monetary donation to dedicate a memorial bench in one of Matthew's favourite parks in Richmond Hill and to Pleasantville Elementary School with the intent to setup a special memorial award his name.
