“To rita's niece & family, we are neighbours of rita and her beloved vince. During these turbulent times, we tried calling her home tel number (which was out of service) and eventually walked over to the house, to see if she need any assistance or groceries last week; there was no answer, we left our business card with our hand written home phone number. Today i decided to search her out and i see the obituary which has sadden our family. Our deepest condolences for your loss, volpe family”

We met at the Richmond Hill Heritage Centre, in the 1990's. I loved her stories about Genoa. We have been friends ever since. Rita was always one of my favourite people.
