She was predeceased by: her child Shaun; her grandchild Jesse Pakulat; and her grandmother Brown. She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Sherri Widdifield, Maureen Murphy, William McKinley, Jean Caswell (Darwin) and Shane West; her grandchildren, Lisa, Lucas, Stephen, Rebecka, Kyziah, Lacodah, Mary, Kyle, Parker and Hanna; and her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Joshua, Isaiah, Aliyah, Nathan and Maya.

Memorial donations can be made to the Kidney foundation of Canada in honour of Margaret.
