She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan McKnight and Ada Snow McKnight; her husband Robert E. McFarlane; her brothers, John McKnight and Ralph McKnight; and her close friend Fred Warnock.
She is survived by: her children, Scott McFarlane of Richmond Hill, Patricia Kinniburgh of Arnprior and Jane McFarlane of Port Hope, Ontario.; her grandchildren, Nancy McFarlane, Scott Kinniburgh, Joe Kinniburgh, Julie Kinniburgh (Marty Dudgeon), Cristian Melchiorre (Lisa Gotlieb), Jordan Melchiorre (Alexis), Luke Melchiorre (Maria Moreno-Perez) and Jessica Melchiorre; and her great grandchildren, Jordan, Cole Dudgeon, Leo, Maeve, Gloria and Lorenzo Melchiorre.
