He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Rumney; and his brother George. He is survived by: his children, John and Wendy; his granddaughters, Alicia (Casey) and Rebecca (Niles); his great grandchild Evan; and his siblings, Connie (late Ken) and Phillip (Joyce).

Due to COVID restrictions a family burial will take place at Victoria Square Cemetery.
