He was predeceased by: his parents, Pharoah Avins and Maude McLeod Avins. He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Avins (Janet) of Bennettsville and Jeff Avins (Delanie) of Manning; his grandchildren, Rita Goff (Lance), Crystal Arnette (Ryan), Chris Avins and Holly Avins; his great grandchild Lathan Goff; his sister June Morris of Manning; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Avins of Sumter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
