She was predeceased by: her parents, Jannes and Johanna; her husband John Veenstra; her siblings, Henk TerWeele, Arie TerWeele and Jo Dam; and her brother-in-law Arend DeMaa.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Carol (Duane), Rob (Joyce), Anastasia (Jon), Hayley (Mike), Mathew and Joe; her great grandchildren, Beckett and Mitchell; and her siblings, Gerda DeMaa and Janny Kiezebrink (Wim).
