Harrison Schlichter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harrison Schlichter (Richmond Hill, Ontario), who passed away on August 10, 2021 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Olive Schlichter and Henry Schlichter; his wife Gladys Schlichter; his children, Helen Schlichter, Paul Schlichter (Mary), Darlene Kennedy (Bob), Dean Schlichter (Joanne), Dianne Koponen (Tapio) and Dawn Cressall (Gary); his brother Leon; and his sisters-in-law, Grace Schlichter and Helen Dyck. He was also cherished by 13 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid restrictions, there will be a private family service of remembrance.

In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to L'Arche Daybreak or Buckingham Manor.
