He was predeceased by: his wife Ilse; his close friend Erika; and his son Manfred (Erika). He is survived by: his daughter Doris; his great grandchildren, A. J., Audrina, Breanna, Costa, Noah and Jude; and his siblings, Karl, Adele, Erna and Hilde.
A Celebration of Erwin's life will be held once the Covid restrictions are lifted.
