She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Schaefer; her son Robert; and her sister Ann. She is survived by: her children, May (John Linstead) of Sutton, Fred (Betty) of Sutton, Betty (George Linstead) of Jackson's Point, Shirley (Jim South) of Keswick, Ruth (John Poli) of Newmarket, John (Kathy) of Newmarket, Carol (Joe Johnston) of Sutton, Joan (Chris Fetterly) of Keswick and Roy (Monica) of Keswick; and her siblings, Phyllis, Irene, Edith and Ernest Thorpe. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
