With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edgar Sidney James Millar (Richmond Hill, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila Millar (Kinnell); and his parents, Gretha Millar and Sidney Millar. He is survived by: his children, Susan (Mike), Julia (Stéphane) and James (Ellie); his siblings, Lillian Paul (Jack), Nelson Millar (Masayo) and Kenneth Cavanagh; and his stepfather Kenneth Cavanagh. He is also survived by in-laws, and all of his nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marshall Funeral Home (10366 Yonge St, Richmond Hill, ON L4C3B8). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Anglican Church (12935 Keele St, King City, ON L7B1G2).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the King Chapter of the Oak Ridges Trail Association or All Saints Anglican Church, King City.
