We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2020, Bryan Buchan (Richmond Hill, Ontario), born in North York, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Buchan and Erma Buchan. He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda (Jim Howard) and Bruce; and his nieces and nephews, Shannon (Sean Tucker), Jennifer (Tom Ryan), Andrea (Nate Gibbons) and John. He is also survived by friends and co-workers.

Private visitation and funeral service are being held at the Marshall Funeral Home in Richmond Hill by invitation only, due to COVID-19.

“I only today (Nov 2021) saw that Mr. Buchan (as I always called him) has passed away! My sympathies to his loved ones. My heart is moved with sorrow, but treasure the many memories I had of him teaching me in grade school those many years ago. And what surprise to receive a Christmas card from him every year after I no longer had him as a teacher. He touched SO many peoples lives. I treasure those Christmas cards and the annual Christmas letters! Rest in Peace Mr. Buchan! Minna Puiras”
