He was predeceased by: his sister Valerie (Bob); his son Brian (Siobhán); his granddaughter Olivia; and his parents, Valentine Hanlon and Mae Hanlon.

He is survived by: his spouse Deo Bodasing; his siblings, Séamus, Ronnie (Mary), Raymond (Mary) and Francis (Barbara); his son David (Adrienne); his stepchildren, Aman (Sheila) and Ronitha (Greg); and his grandchildren, Nancy Jane, Robert, Isabelle, David Jr., Zoe, Cal, Téa Maharaj, Aria and Leia Hammerschmidt.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the North Toronto Crematorium Inc. (2 Stalwart Industrial Dr, Gormley, ON L0H 1G0). A wake will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fionn McCool's (125 York Blvd #135, Richmond Hill, ON L4B3J6).
