He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Peplinski and Mary Peplinski; his spouse Donna Coulas; his children, Rick (Christine) and Nikki (Jimmy MacDonald); his grandchildren, Brittney, James, Heidi, Dustin, Farrah and Ruth; his siblings, Max (Linda), Rose (late Leonard Valliquette), Felix (Pauline), Barbara (Ben Bachinskie), Lucy (Jerry Stokes), Bernadette Peplinski and Maryanne Dear (Paul Cunningham); his sibling-in-law Julie; his brothers, Dominic and Nicholas (late Doris); and his close friend Buster. He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews.

Donations in Stanley's memory may be made to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital.
