With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Salme Voorand (Renfrew, Ontario), who passed away on November 16, 2018 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Artur of St. Catharines; and her significant other Paul Jaanson of Buffalo. She is survived by: her children, Marianne Surén (Gösta) and Upplands-Väsby; her grandchildren, Elena Marika and Hailey Martina Voorand of Barry's Bay; and her parent Sweden.

Donations can be made payable to the Estonian Foundation of Canada to support and preserve Estonian culture and heritage across Canada.
