He is survived by: his spouse Marie Burwell; his children, Douglas Burwell, Brian Burwell (Margaret) and Ann Blimkie; his grandchildren, Jessica (Andrew Lang), Christopher Bromley (Katie) and Emily Bromley; his great grandchildren, Baeden and Parker; his brothers, Arnold Burwell (Vera) and Willis Burwell; and also Henderson.
