She was predeceased by: her former husband Keith Gale; her son Brian Gale; and her former husband John Shaw. She is survived by: her children, Connie Gale and Patti Gale Sanders (Larry); her parents, Sarah Mullen and Steve Mullen; and her siblings, Bob Mullen, Harold Mullen, Mervin Mullen, Aletha Watson and Delta Reade. She is also survived by her many friends and nieces and nephews.
