He was predeceased by: his daughter Lorrie; his parents, Juliette Gauthier and Fred Gauthier; and his sister Diane Tremblay. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Gauthier; his children, Marcel Jr, Terry, Julie and Raini; and his siblings, Judy Wilson, Fred Jr. (Debbie), Allan, Bernard (Marie) and Mitch. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
