She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Alan Prince; her children, David (Janice) of Kanata, Jane Prince Ramsay of Ottawa and Anne Patrice; her grandchildren, Erin Ramsay, Adam (Nadia) and Amy Prince; her great grandchild Liam; her siblings-in-law, Florence Hudson and Philip Dresch; her parents, Stephen Mackwood and Annie Mackwood; and her siblings, Stephen Mackwood Jr (late Amelia) and Joan Dresch. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
