He was predeceased by: his parent Gertruda Klueskens; and his siblings, Wilhemena (Arthur Blaskevitch), Johanna and Wilhelmus. He is survived by: his spouse Brenda; his parent Thoedor Houwen; his grandchildren, Emma and Elyssa; and his siblings, Maria (Howard Kuehl), Gerarda Bertrand (Garnet), Gerard (Alice), Antonia (Wayne Doherty) and Gertrude Brydges (late Charlie Ricard). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
