She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Dickson Archibald Purves (Arch) and Caroline Mary Ewart Blair (Ina); her son James Purves Archibald (Jim); her former husband Dr. Vern Prentice Sr.; and her siblings, Blair Purves (James Purves) and Grace (J. C. Phillips) of Toronto.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie, Lois, Brian, David William Blair Prentice (Catherine) and Carol Ann Elizabeth; her husband Murray; her children, Kathy, Ruth, Murray, Erin (Charlie Briscoe), Jared, Sam and Jo; her grandson James (Terri); her great grandchildren, Jackson and Stella; her grandchildren, Blair and Rob (Katie Ahrens); her great grandchild David Shore (Rachel); her daughter-in-law Rachael; her grandchildren-in-law, Marie, Dr. Michelle Prentice and Joel (Alexandra Gaysek); her son Dr. Vern Prentice Jr. (Judy); her grandchildren, Janet (Josh Brierley), Michael, Stephanie, Colin and Jared Debruyn (Jaimie); her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Nolan and Ayden; her granddaughter Samantha; her great grandchildren, Isla, Arabella and Maren; her nieces and nephews, Donna, Michael, Caroline, Tom, Jillian, John, Cathy, Janet and Barb; and also Mya. She is also survived by children, grandchildren and older great-grandchildren.
