He was predeceased by : his parents, William Virgin and Octavie Virgin (Gagnon); and his siblings, Clifford (Marjorie Virgin), Hilda (Frank Lucenti), Rita (Archie Miller) and Beatrice (Arden Hay).

He is survived by : his wife Jeannie Virgin; his sister Gertie Lepere (late Louie); his siblings-in-law, Delta Virgin (late Leslie), Jess, Garry McFee, Bonnie Fraser (late Sandy), Stewart Dodd, Marilyn Dodd, Robert Dodd and Joycine Dodd; and his pet Neesa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, friends.
