We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2022, Christina Margaret Griese (Renfrew, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Boldt and Florence Boldt; and her siblings, Ken Boldt (Rita), Arnold, Edith Smith (Budd), Lena Windle (Sy) and Jean Crogie (Budd).
She is survived by: her husband Robert Griese (Bob); her children, Paul (late Kathryn), Tom (Ann), Alan (Cindy) and Brenda Pilatzke (Don); her grandchildren, Jason, Rebecca, Michael, Kyle, David (Holly), Rachel, Jeff (Trisha), Heather (Ryan) and Chris (Carmelita); her great grandchildren, Matthew, Fisher, Kaleb, Everett and Gideon; her brother Bob Boldt (Delta); and her sister-in-law Lorna Boldt.
Donations in her name made to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated. Margaret's son came across this poem that she had stashed away in her belongings which highlighted her ongoing struggle with Alzheimer's, perhaps long before we recognized it.
