She was predeceased by: her parents, J. T. McElroy and Jessie McElroy (Rodney McNulty); her stepdaughter Lori Small; and her siblings, Catherine Mulligan, Mary, Jack, Margaret and James.

She is survived by: her sister Ann Taylor; her sons, Shane (Julie), John (Mia) and Daniel (Ruth); her grandsons, Alex and Mitchell Small (Julia); her children, Ben, Peter McNulty, Colleen Harnish (Logan), Matthew McNulty (Megan), Lindsay McMurray (Jordan), Shannon and Jack McNulty (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Averly, Addison McMurray and Myah McNulty. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
