He was predeceased by: his wife Trudy Welch; and his mother Carmen Welch. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Tasha (Lorne) and Bill; his grandchildren, Devin, Jessica, Marisa (Mark) and Rayne (Azar); his siblings, Peter Welch, Suzanne Pettersen (Stephan) and Brenda Helkaa (Kevin); and his father Ronald Welch.
