He is survived by: his parent Parkdale; his grandchildren, Joseph S Dort (Tanya Puka), Malcolm Dort, Julie, Owen, Cameron, Erika Dort (Sergio Andaloro), Matthew Webster, Shannon Webster, Alex Dayneka-Hayes (Kirk Hayes), Jillian Newton (Ben Newton) and Stephen J Dayneka; his siblings-in-law, Vera Dayneka and Ehor Boyanowsky (Christina); and his spouse Lesia.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
