We bid farewell to Shawn Thompson (Red Lake, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 18, 2025 at the age of 36. Shawn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Shawn's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Shawn's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Wendy, Rhonda and Joanne; and his grandmother Nancy Linklater. He is survived by: his mother Lorraine Meekis; his daughter Aurora Thompson; and his brothers, Waylon, Martin and Abel. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forestry Fellowship Centre (100 Forestry Rd, Red Lake, ON P0V2M0). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
