He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Theresa; and his brother-in-law Martin Hester. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his son John Cowan (Kirstie); his granddaughter Marcella; his son Wayne (Nadia); his grandchildren, Trinity, Maveric and Declan; his son Donny (Tammy); his grandchildren, Drake, Madelyn, Mark (Maleena), Jillian and Alexis; his niece Debbie McEvoy; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brooke, Tanner and Dillon; his siblings, Edna Mae, Diane Hester and John (Penelope); and his great grandchild Mavis.
