Patrick R. Raftis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick R. Raftis of Ramara, Ontario, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude "Trudie" Raftis; and his siblings, Mary (Mike Epoch), Gerald, Frank (Marie), Rita (Leo Carlin), John (Jean) and Michael (Ellen).
He is survived by: his daughters, Anne McGowan (Fredrick) of Oshawa, Catherine Raftis of Ramara and Karen Daly (Charles Dempsey) of Pickering; his grandchildren, Jennifer McGowan (Terry Michaud), David McGowan (Stephanie) and Brendan Daly (Kristin); and his great grandchildren, Maxwell, Miles McGowan and Findley Michaud.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
