He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Wares and David. He is survived by: his close friend Tara Hamilton; his son James Wares; his grandchildren, Jasmine, Joshua and Carson; his siblings, Kris Wares-Tani (Dale), Dave Wares (Joanne) and Scott Wares (Patti); and his nieces and nephews, Tyler and Dakota.

Due to Covid- 19 restrictions attendance must be pre-booked.

If desired, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
