Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shirley Halverson (Rainy River, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 88, on February 23, 2018. She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Halverson; her parents, Bill McDonald and Minnie McDonald; and her siblings, Billy McDonald (Jean), Jim McDonald, Catherine Lybbert (Alton), Florance Watson (Mel) and Verna Stephenson (John).

She is survived by: her daughter Cathy (Rod Hoard); and her siblings, Evelyn Crawford (Ed) and Cam McDonald (Sherri). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

If friends so desire in memoriam donations may be made to the Atikokan General Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society or Rainycrest Long Term Care.
