She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Halverson; her parents, Bill McDonald and Minnie McDonald; and her siblings, Billy McDonald (Jean), Jim McDonald, Catherine Lybbert (Alton), Florance Watson (Mel) and Verna Stephenson (John).

She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Hoard; her siblings, Evelyn Crawford (Ed) and Cam McDonald (Sherri); and also Rod Hoard. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

If friends so desire, in memoriam donations may be made to the Atikokan General Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society, or Rainycrest Long-Term Care.
