It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christal Shawna Henderson of Rainy River, Ontario, who passed away on December 5, 2021, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Eleanor Faye Hunter; her grandparents, Albert Hunter Sr., Bella Hunter and David Henderson; her uncle Abe Hunter; and her cousin Marcus Henderson.

She is survived by: her father Chris Henderson (Shauna Ottertail); her close friend River White; her siblings, River Henderson, Cadence Henderson, Leah Hunter, Tyler Hunter, Alyssa Ottertail and Joshua Ottertail; her nieces and nephews, Tyler Hunter, Khloe Hunter, Lincoln Hunter, Gabrielle Hunter, Draven Ottertail and Seneca Ottertail; her aunts and uncles, Albert, Joe, Art, Sarah, Doreen, Irene Hunter, Lorraine Cochrane Gloria Geyer, Mike, Paul, Glenda, Sherry, James E. Henderson, Bob Calder and Jay Wayash-Calder; and her grandparents, Cecilia Henderson and Allan Calder.
