He was predeceased by: his parents, Victoria and Giovanni; and his brother Nicola. He is survived by: his children, Silvana Tota (Joe), Rick Zebryk (Gillian Arlidge), Theresa Ballantyne (Brian), Doreena Portanova and Debbie Portanova (Gianni); his grandchildren, Joey (Lindsay), Emilio (Christina), Nicholas, Matthew, Brendan, Giuliano, Alessandro and Dylan; and his great grandchildren, Jashon, Brianna, Anise and Luca. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Entombment will follow Mass at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
