He was predeceased by: his wife Vicky Rupert (Goodwin); his parents, Keitha Rupert (Riddell) and Harry Rupert; and his siblings, Bruce Rupert and Marlene Masson.
He is survived by: his children, Joan (Dave) and Steve (Kim); his grandsons, Dawson and Matt; and his brother Brian (Wilma). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
