He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his parents, Walter Church and Winnifred Church; and his brothers, Charles, George and Joe.

He is survived by: his sons, Keith (Susan) of Cambridge and Ross (Carrie) of Owen Sound; his grandchildren, Craig (Jamie), Kyle (Ailish), Laine, Amy and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Shiloh, Hunter and Jonah; and his siblings, Ralph, Norman and Sharon.
