He was predeceased by: his wife Elva. He is survived by: his children, Bill Brain (Peggy) of Newcastle, Steve Brain (Sue) of Prince Albert, Chris Brain (Bonnie) of Lindsay, Brian Brain (Margot) of Port Perry, Donna Jean (Bob Branton) of Oshawa and Mary-Ellen (Nathan Martin) of Oshawa; and his grandchildren, Jason, Krista (Marc O'Brien), Derek (Danielle), Adam (Genevieve), Paul (Laura), Christy Lynn (Kevin), Kim, Michael, Jeremy (Cassie), Devin (Heather), Brandon and Jessica. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
