He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Birtch and Lucille Birtch. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Birtch; his children, Matthew Birtch (Lee-Anna) of Heckston, Emily Levesque (Simon) of Carleton Place and Megan Birtch (Brendan Waggoner) of Ottawa; his sister Rhonda Bell of Edmonton, Alberta.; his grandchildren, Reyna, Owen, Josie, Everly and Hadley; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie St. Pierre of Stittsville and Gordon St. Pierre of Brockville. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
