She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Hanes and Eva Hanes (late Wray Dickson); her aunt Nelda Peterson; and her siblings-in-law, Anne Majola, Debra Pinneo, Florence Furzer, Helen Hollister, Ruth Cheetham, Robert and Thomas Dickson.
She is survived by: her brother Alton Hanes (Jean); her children, Janice Atkins (Eric) and Tom Dickson; and her sisters-in-law, Edythe Bryan of Georgetown, Roberta Hutchings (Ken) of Kingston, Lenore Perras of Cornwall and Sylvia Hutchings (Warren) of Calgary, AB.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
