He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Wenghofer. He is survived by: his child Calvyn Wenghofer (Kristen); his grandchildren, Jessica Wenghofer and Alysha Wenghofer; his siblings, Rita Isenheim (Helmut), Alois Wenghofer (Mary Ann) and Gabriele Riedel (Herwig); and his sister-in-law Elaine Dittmer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
